Gabriele Cruciata
Journalist and Trainer
Gabriele Cruciata is a journalist and trainer born in 1994 with a focus on slow, investigative, and in-depth journalism. In 2021 he co-founded AltaVoce, a podcast company working for major publications. He freelanced for both Italian and international outlets, including Repubblica, L’Espresso, Wired, Die Zeit, Storytel, and Mediapart. He’s been awarded with the Roberto Morrione Prize for investigative journalism, the Giuseppe Fava Prize (youth section), the French Prix Reporters d’Espoirs as well as with a special mention at the Dig Awards. He’s been working as a Google News Lab Teaching Fellow since July 2022.
